Dr. Shervin Yazdi
Dr. Yazdi has been providing safe and effective pediatric dental care for 26 years. Dr. Yazdi is a graduate of the world renowned dental doctorate program at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA 1994) and furthermore the post-doctoral pediatric residency program at UCLA (1996).
Striving to maintain a high standard of care for my patients my intent is that all professional care delivered at my office will be of the best possible quality my staff and I can provide for each patient.
Efforts are made to obtain cooperation from children by the use of warmth, friendliness, persuasion, humor, gentleness, kindness, and understanding.
Personally, I am trying to extract the best shot of espresso possible. New to Matcha, but learning. I also enjoy swimming, resistance training, and ball room dancing.

Dr. Min Kim
Dr. Kim has been highly regarded as an outstanding orthodontist and a graduate of UCSF, a top orthodontic university. For over 15 years we have enjoyed the quality of care Dr. Kim has brought to our office and community.
Hi, my name is Dr. Min Kim and I am a Board Certified and licensed Orthodontist who treats adults as well as children. I enjoy reading and hiking around the lovely Bay area. I also love traveling and visiting different cultures. I am very excited to be here, working with a great team of staff. I strive to provide our patients with a healthy, functional, and beautiful smile that they can keep for the rest of their lives.
Dr. Zachary Hollander grew up on the East Coast in Great Neck, New York. He studied Civil Engineering while attending Duke University for his undergraduate degree and then went on to obtain his DDS degree at Columbia University. He then moved to the West Coast to pursue orthodontic training at UCLA where he acquired his certificate and a masters degree in Oral Biology. He is currently a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Zachary had been practicing in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara before moving up to the Bay Area. He revels in the daily satisfaction that comes with creating beautiful smiles and interacting face to face with patients.
In his free time, he enjoys rooting for heart breaking sports franchises like the NY Knicks and Minnesota Vikings, lifting weights, running a lot slower than he did in high school, cooking, eating sushi, shopping at Costco, reading fiction, and watching movies.
Dr. Zach Hollander
Dr. Robert Costisevschi
Dr. Robert Costisevschi is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA, served as a Student Community Outreach for Public Education officer and received the community service award upon graduation. He then completed a General Practice Residency program at St. Barnabas Hospital, which is a Level 1 trauma center, in the Bronx, New York. After finishing the program, Dr. Costisevschi remained at St. Barnabas Hospital to complete his Pediatric Dentistry specialty training, where he served as Chief Resident.
As a Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Costisevschi strives to provide a fun, comfortable, and positive experience for your child. By advocating preventative dentistry and providing comprehensive dental care, he aspires to help your child achieve a healthy lifestyle filled with success in oral hygiene and happiness. Outside of Dentistry, Dr. Costisevschi enjoys exercising at the gym, listening to music, playing guitar, and cheering for the Golden State Warriors. He is also a big Disney and Marvel fan.

Dr. Sarah Esmaili

Originally from the Bay Area and a college graduate of Santa Clara University, Dr. Sarah Esmaili (pronounced Es-smiley) headed out to Philadelphia for dental school, where she earned her DMD from Temple University Maurice Kornberg School of Dentistry and received the Edward B. and Arnold R. Cook Award in Pediatric Dentistry. There she discovered her passion of working with children, and followed after graduation to pursue pediatric dental residency at Geisinger Hospital in Danville, PA.

Dr. Esmaili loves to help kids discover and build their self-confidence during their dental visits. She is excited to be back home and create positive experiences for the kiddos. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer, swimming, reading, and drinking hot chocolate at every opportunity.

Dr. Lesley Latham
Dr. Lesley Latham is happy to join our Castro Valley Pediatric Dental community from UCSF, where she completed the pediatric dental residency as chief of community outreach and mastered in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences.
She served as Dental Director for the Eastmont Wellness Center of East Oakland where she retrofitted the dental clinic for 2020 viral precautions in order to provide consistent emergency care throughout the pandemic shelter-down.
Dr. Latham has a passion for dental public health--- her goal is to create equal opportunity and access to exceptional-quality care for all California residents.
Originally from Texas, she earned her degree from Baylor College of Dentistry and played saxophone in the Longhorn Marching Band. Her hobbies include jigsaw puzzles, exploring California, and jet setting with her mom.
